About the Journal
The Journal of Telemedicine (TJT), also referred to as #tjtmed, was launched in late 2023, and the first issue was published in February 2024. The TJTMed is a quarterly journal subjected to peer review and follows an open-access policy. Our publication has been the result of a collaboration with Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences (AJUMS).

Aims and scope
Telemedicine, also known as Telehealth, refers to the use of computers and telecommunications technology, ranging from traditional landlines to smartphones and wearable devices ( called Mobile Health or mHealth), to deliver medical care remotely. It enables healthcare practitioners to remotely provide medical services such as consultations, examinations, diagnoses, treatments, monitoring, home care, education, and even surgery. Telemedicine covers many sub-domains, such as Telecardiology, Teleradiology, Telepathology, Teledermatology, Teleophthalmology, Telepsychiatry, Teleoncology, Teleneurology, Telestroke, Telesurgery, Telepharmacy, Teledentistry, Tele-education, Telenursing, and Distance Learning. Shortly, telemedicine will gain global acceptance and emerge as a vital means of providing healthcare services.
The primary goal of the TJTMed is to emphasize telemedicine studies and contribute to the advancement, progress, and expansion of telemedicine. It aims to present the latest findings, works, technologies, and ideas while keeping readers updated.
We look forward to receiving your articles on digital health and information technology, including Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Wearable Technology, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and mobile applications, with a focus on telemedicine, telehealth, and mobile health (mHealth).
The TJTMed accepts different types of scientific papers, including Original Articles, Systematic Reviews, Research Letters, Case Reports, Letters to the Editor, Short Communications, and Commentaries.
